On April the 5th the maximum temperature was 35 degrees. On April the 10th it was 19. One client, newly arrived to town summed it up by saying “Adelaide weather is not same same - its different different.”

Later, that week after another client returned from Melbourne I inquired about how the weather had been on his holiday. Upon him replying that the weather had been good I replied by saying “yeah, the it’s pretty similar to Adelaide.” “Oh no”, he assured me. “Melboune’s weather is not similar at all. Melbourne’s weather is normal.”
